The Mereto di Tomba site, the Group‘s headquarters located in the province of Udine, develops in balance with the landscape, respecting the environment thanks to a purification system for the water used in production processes and functional mechanisms to control atmospheric emissions, consumption, and energy. In addition, gas cogeneration allows production energy equal to 1 MW / h, which means having produced68% of the electricity necessary to move production machines and plants at the end of the year.
In 2019 the site started the expansion of its facilities giving life to Biofarma2, home of the Logistics Pole that houses a logistics area and a shipping area with high computerization and automation. And, from 7 January 2020, the new packaging department for topical products on a site of two floors of 3,800 square meters each was designed in a lean manufacturing key. In addition, the building has photovoltaic panels of 827kw of power, which is a year that allows the company to produce energy equal to 8% of that consumed.
