We process both ready-to-go projects, to be put on the market in a short time, and more complex projects with a pharma-like approach, which result in tailor-made products created for our customers through the analysis of their characteristics, the market they operate in and their positioning, also taking into account the competitive landscape and being a real reliable partner.
The idea, the spark from which a development project starts, may arise either internally, thanks to the close collaboration of the R&I and Development teams, or externally from discussions and direct meetings with the customer.
In developing projects, we always look for innovative raw materials with high quality standards and all the right characteristics to meet customer requirements, analysing their technical performance and analytical profile.
The galenic development phase begins with a theoretical study of the formulation followed by an experimental laboratory test to fine-tune the product.
We also take care of the industrial scale-up phase conducted through trials in order to:
verify the product feasibility;
verify that the specifications designed for a given product can be managed at production level and validate;
confirm the production method to be followed;
carry out batches to validate production and packaging processes and to validate analytical methods;
initiate stability studies, holding time, homogenity tests and transport tests.
The Development team also operates downstream of the industrial process, collaborating with the production and packaging areas to develop new methods to make production processes more efficient.

In fact, our Development team includes experts dedicated to defining analysis plans and stability protocols to be applied to product release, in order to verify that it matches the specifications defined during development and that these specifications are preserved over time.
